Abstract:
We present results of full simulation for the occupancies and time stamping information with the SiD tracker at a warm machine. Backgrounds can have an adverse effect on some physics measurements, so good timing information is needed to isolate the signal. Detailed study with full detector simulation, which includes timing effects from a full train of bunch crossings, shows that the occupancy is very low and hence good time information is available with SiD.
