Abstract:
We present the results of tests using a double GEM TPC with 30cm drift volume. We have finished our first analysis of comic ray data taken in magnetic fields up to 5.3 tesla in P5 and Ar/Methane/CO2. Defocusing and diffusion, spatial resolution and systematics will be discussed. Preliminary results of tests using tracks generated with a 337nm N2 UV laser will be shown. Also presented will be an outline of future plans for this chamber.
