Abstract:

A new front-end circuit designed for long Silicon Strip
Detectors in a synchronous environment including a low
noise
preamplifier, a 1-10 microsecond pulse shaper, a one nano-
second
resolution TDC and on-chip digitization in a multi-channel
architecture is developed in deep sub-micron
CMOS technology and foreseen to be submitted end August
2004. The
detailed design, currently simulated performances and
integration in an
 overall readout architecture are presented.
