Abstract:
The report of the latest advances on the SiLC (Silicon tracking for the Linear Collider) R&D since LCWS04 will include: the results on the characterization of new sensors and of long and very long microstrip detectors on test benches; The development of the construction of long microstrip detectors; The thermo-mechanical studies, and the study of the integration issues of a full Si-tracking system for the LC.
