Abstract:
We present an update on silicon detector readout R&D at Santa Cruz. We have finalized the schematic design of a long shaping-time readout ASIC, and are preparing a test stand. Issues specific to the chip development (power switching, analog readout strategy, etc.) will be discussed. We will also present some new results from pulse simulation studies.
